Nevermind all the bugs with it and very obvious lack of functions we know from old the old UI. (maybe for a EVE mobile future?!) Even if there is a big rework based on player feedback (lol i know), I am very doubtful this is going to satisfy anyone who played with a compact& somewhat easily to digest skill que/character sheet before. EVE isnt complicated for new players its complicated for idiots. EVE Echoes looks fun but itll probably be watered down or something.

My honest to got fear now is, that they want to revamp the UI in this style. Bonuses of learning EVE is that itll force you to learn how to research because few people ever hand out information freely besides resources for YOU to look into. That CCP would release it in this state, without the option for the old style, is really worrying. This is way way worse then red dot desaster.
It takes up over 1/3rd of the character sheet, costs lot's of perfomance and serves no practical purpose except clicking on the 'Skills' button to reach the new skill que. You can not hide the character potrait anymore. The less is said about the new character sheet, the better. Why do there need to be huge symbols? Why the big wasted space that makes this window just oversized? Why not make this optional? Any game time, PLEX or DLC packages that are purchased from the Epic Games store will always be delivered to the EVE Online account that was automatically created when EVE Online was added via the Epic store. EVE: Valkyrie now brings the thrill and skill of competitive online space. But this is a big exercise in how to make a big bloaty window where you have to scroll around and squint, trying to find you what you want. This is not something you can just get used to, with the old skill que window, I was able to quickly and easily do everyting I want. EVE Online is a free MMORPG sci-fi strategy game where you can embark on your own unique space adventure. (And I certainly don't want anything to behave like that)
There are lot's of waste space and worst of all it does not behave like any other EVE window, like maximizing when moved to the top. This seriously looks like it was made for some mobile/tablet game. EVE Online/DUST514, the EVE/DUST514 logo, EVE/DUST514 and all associated logos and designs are the intellectual property of CCP hf.

It's basically the opposite of what I want from my windows in EVE: small, compact & easily digestable detailed info. The shop in Louth, Lincolnshire, will close on Saturday 4th February 2023.It's really bad and impractical. Most of all we would like to thank all our customers for your business over the years. Eve & Ranshaw could not have been as successful as it was without your support and loyalty. Thank you for being with our shop in all its ups and downs. Our heartfelt thanks go to our dedicated shop team, some of whom have served the business for decades. We thank them for their commitment, loyalty and excellent customer service over the years. We would also like to thank our wonderful suppliers who helped us provide the best products and services to our customers. Regrettably, it reached a point where the department store was no longer viable.
In recent years we have faced some challenging times with changes in customer shopping habits, lockdown closures, rising business costs and the current cost of living crisis. We are immensely proud of our shop and its heritage. It is with a heavy heart that we have had to close Eve & Ranshaw after 240 years.
